To work as an accountant you should undertake a professional qualification. The AIA's professional qualification is split into three levels. On completion of each level a qualification is awarded, allowing students to gain qualifications as they progress towards becoming a qualified accountant.
Our qualifications are delivered globally through approved study providers, or through AIA Achieve, our interactive distance learning study programme, enabling you to learn in a way that suits your lifestyle.
This qualification is examinable up to May 2021.
You can start your journey with AIA if you have a minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent.
If you have a degree or other professional qualifications you may be eligible for exemptions from some papers making it quicker and easier to become a qualified accountant with AIA.
Application fee - £135
Exam/exemption fees - £120 per paper
*The application fee includes an administration fee and your first year’s annual subscription fee of £75. Students in Hong Kong are also required to pay a £20 Branch subscription fee. The figures are based on successful completion at first attempt; this price does not include the fee for any resits required.
