The Learning Records Service's (LRS) Personal Learning Record (PLR) is intended as a central, online record of your qualifications and achievements.

The PLR system has been populated with both general qualifications such as A Levels, GCSEs, Diplomas and vocational qualifications, since 2008, and now it has been enhanced to enable Awarding Organisations, such as the AIA, to load your Qfqual regulated qualifications and QCF units directly into the PLR.

As a QCF Student, you are able to access and view your achievements in the PLR, and you have the opportunity to share your PLR with other Awarding Organisations and other providers, as you deem suitable. It will also allow the AIA and the Skills Funding Agency, with your consent, to use the credit check function to transfer your credits from one Awarding Organisation to another.

You can access your achievement data for a variety of reasons, including: further education, training and qualifications, to progress your career, gain advice and public funding, and to provide your present or future employers with accurate information on the qualifications you hold.

For further details about how the information you have provided to us will be used, please ask your careers, training or education advisor or refer to the Learning Records Service website.
