Join us on 11 January for an overview of HMRC’s work targeting non-compliance of overseas entities owning UK property, the Register of Overseas Entities (ROE) and a closer look at why the register is important for Tax.  

During the webinar HMRC representatives will cover: 

  1. Why ownership of UK properties by overseas entities is a focus for HMRC, including a high level overview of the potential tax implications for overseas entities, interested trusts and UK-resident beneficial owners.
  2. What HMRC are currently doing to correct tax non-compliance of overseas entities and beneficial owners, including an overview of the current programme of activity involving one-to-one and one-to-many compliance. 
  3. The background to and scope of the Register of Overseas Entities (ROE). 
  4. Why the ROE is important to HMRC and an overview of a planned programme of activity for 2023-24.
