The Association of International Accountants (AIA), Hong Kong Branch held their 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Craigengower Cricket Club, Happy Valley on 26 June 2018.
The Hong Kong Branch AGM which was followed by the Executive Committee meeting provided AIA members and representatives with the perfect opportunity to reflect on the successes of the previous twelve months, whilst looking forward to continuing the AIA growth strategy into 2019 and beyond.
During the meeting the election process took place for the AIA Hong Kong branch office bearers for 2018/19. The team can now be confirmed as:

Following the Executive Committee Meeting the new AIA Hong Kong Branch President, Dr William Ho, said: “I am honoured to be elected as the Branch President for the new term 2018/19.
“With the past experiences as Branch President for 2007/08, 2008/09 and 2009/10, I shall work closely with the Branch Executive Committee in providing quality services to our members and students in the region and promote the interests of the AIA with the assistance from the AIA UK head office.”
Throughout his career Dr Ho has held senior roles at Philips Hong Kong Ltd and VTech Holdings Limited. He now acts as a consultant for Ho & Lam CPA Limited; a company he founded back in 1977.
Commenting on the announcement, AIA President, Les Bradley, said: “Congratulations to Dr Ho on his well deserved appointment as Hong Kong Branch President.
“Dr Ho brings a wealth of experience to the branch presidency role and with his dedication and drive he will be a great asset for the Hong Kong branch and its members in this historic 90th anniversary year.”
