HONG KONG & MACAU BRANCH
Hong Kong is AIA's oldest international Branch, established in 1973 by Richard C K Yau, FAIA; it celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2013.
The Branch provides technical assistance for all AIA members in Hong Kong and organises an ongoing programme of seminars, CPD events, social and networking opportunities for Branch Members. An Annual Dinner is held in March for members and distinguished guests.
The Hong Kong Branch Executive Committee works with the AIA secretariat to represent AIA members and engage in constructive dialogue with professional bodies in Hong Kong, study providers and universities, employers and the Hong Kong SAR government.
The Hong Kong Branch works to build a dynamic and influential network of International Accountants in Hong Kong. Individuals holding AIA membership can benefit from enhanced career and employment opportunities, international networks and hold a prestigious qualification.
Hong Kong Branch membership offers enhanced benfits and services in addition to those enjoyed through AIA membership. In 2017 the role of the AIA Hong Kong Branch was expanded to include increasing membership from neighbouring Macau.
